The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew Marianne North Nature Coloring Book

This delightful botanical coloring book contains over 60 designs to color based on the illustrations of Marianne North, accompanied by the original, full-color artwork.

One of the 19th century's most intrepid women travelers, Marianne North (1830-90) explored the world, traveling across Canada, the United States and Mexico and down into the countries of South America as well as making trips to the Middle East, Australia and South Africa. Her contribution to botanical research and the documenting of new species was invaluable and is marked by some of the most glorious and intricate art that is on show in the Marianne North Gallery at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew.

This delightful coloring book includes full-color plates opposite each outline so that budding artists can be inspired by her original illustrations or choose color schemes of their own.
