In the early 1800's Fall River was known as the cotton manufacturing capital of the world. It was a quiet little Massachusetts city built on the side of several hills near the Taunton River. In 1875 the peace and quiet of this little city changed forever. It was shattered by the shocking and violent murder of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Borden in their home by their daughter Lizzie. Today Fall River is once again gripped in fear, this time by a serial bomber who has already killed over a dozen people and injured many more. Carly McKenna the bomb technician assigned to the case has gotten too close and now she's at the killer's mercy. He's not only threatening her, but has devised a plan to have her lawyer parents to defend him in court.
