My book, ?Don?t Tell A Soul? recounts the stories of three Survivors, all of whom heard the words: Don?t Tell A Soul. Asking a child to keep a secret is tantamount to saying ?what we?re doing is wrong?. A child knows this and thus a seed is planted. The seed is the idea you are worthless, you are bad, and this is all your fault. Because you blame yourself a rage grows inside of you. If left untreated the end result is self-destructive behavior. Many of you engage in this behavior to the brink of death. Survivors of childhood abuse know this. This book helps you identify with other survivors and to see the steps they took to overcome this childhood trauma. There is a solution and the solution is outlined in my book. You don?t have to go through life with feelings of shame and guilt and hate. You can let go of the past and learn to grow and thrive. The method of recovery in this book will set you free. All you need is a desire to recover and willingness to take the next step. Other people have done it. If they can find happiness so can you!
