What happens when a couple of hillbillies from Kentucky make the worlds greatest discovery since fire? Mike Johnson, a bartender from Louisville, and his best buddy Otis Renfrow, a machinist and aspiring comedian, are weekend spelunkers whose life's change forever when they tumble down a 150-foot shaft and then, while trying to find their way out, happen upon a cave full of gravity-defying stones. The stones deliver them to the surface and eventually set them up for life-but not before nearly getting them killed. The FBI, CIA, DOD, and even NASA vie for control of the stones, and Mike and Otis soon find themselves in the middle of a deadly tug of war. When the smoke clears, Mike, the victim of unrequited love, settles for the next best thing: Louise, a beautifully restored 1961 Ford Thunderbird that can fly.
