In Jesus' name we pray; on His team we play! Maybe you've heard your coach say that you're one of the most dedicated players on the team. Or maybe that's what you want to be. But when it comes to your dedication to God's team-the one that matters most-what kind of player would Jesus say you are? We all know the standards that make a good athlete-strength, confidence, hard work. But what about those standards God calls us to as Christians? We are all players in this spiritual game called life and we can use God's standard to evaluate the way we, His players, play it. The purpose of this Bible study and devotional is to help build, encourage, inspire, and produce committed Christian athletes-men, women, boys, and girls who desire to consistently follow the game plan of Christ, not those that have become wishy-washy with Jesus and would like to stay that way.
