The second hand-drawn book in the Olivier & Joaquin series, « Joaquin & Olivier On The High Seas! » picks up at the bottom of South America where the two brothers rescued penguins (with the help of animals from across the Western Hemisphere) in the first book. Now, cousin Max guides Captain Jack Trotter of the storied 1703 galleon Cinque Ports to the island where the brothers are stranded. And so begins a whirlwind tour of the globe as our heroes fend off the restless ghosts aboard the Flying Dutchman. Our merry crew of pint-sized pirates sail the seven seas to discover the history, myths, and treasures this world has to offer in their pursuit of their second mission. But will they reach their destination, or will the ghost pirates of the Flying Dutchman intercept them first?
