Ryan and Nicole's separation following their birthday celebration was to say the least 'painful'. Nicole's family began falling apart watching her father's illness worsen to the point of his possible death. The young couple find themselves reunited again when her father's doctor has him sent by ambulance to a hospital in Denver, Colorado. Enduring another separation after being able to spend Christmas together, the young lovebirds find out that stress and jealousy are also a part of their live's.
