One day many years ago, a man walked up a hill with a cross upon His back. At the end of that walk He paid the price for you and me to also walk up a street. Ours would be different. Where his climb had been over a rocky road and a steep hill, ours will be on streets that are paved with pure gold. John the Revelator describes the end of our walk so well for at the end of our street we'll see the one who made our walk easy. We'll get to walk those golden streets with our loved ones. They will be walking with Paul and Moses, Joel, Noah, David and the prophets of old. What a blessing! We'll not even eye those golden streets for the beauty of heaven will be all around us.
