The way of thing is a compilation of philosophy, poetry and short essays arranged for reading pleasure and introspective thought. The words don't give you insight to yourself, they just act as the catalyst. To the largest extent the book's design is to get you thinking, but not about the everyday rather the one day. The hundred or so pages you see in front of you are from a pile of 500 pages, these not necessarily being the best, but rather the right ones.
