Erma D's Essence of a Special Poetry Collection is about spiritually building the power of words that can be inspiring, refreshing, and can expressively engage the reader to become a part of each poem. They are meant to bring special memories of days gone by to the readers as well as open their hearts to think, listen, and accept these words of exciting, poetic challenge given to me by God. Many of the poems in this collection were written for and about special friends and family during times of sadness and others during specific times in my life. For me, they are all a part of something special that I wanted to share with everyone, as they are gifts given to me by God at this time in my life. This book also contains special poems about my family heritage and is dedicated to my grandmother, Jency Tanner Penny, whose picture is included.
