Nicole is a twenty one year old who lives in a small town in Montana. She is desperate to leave behind the beautiful green grass and glorious mountains. Nicole decides to go to Manhattan the city that never sleeps! Upon her arrival, she is amazed at the enormous buildings, automobiles and people everywhere. Eventually she settles into an apartment with a blissful gay man who makes her journey in New York City one to never forget. Chaos and Adventure is exactly what Nicole finds. However, Nicole gets a taste of the dangerous side of town when attacked in the dark hallway. A handsome Police Officer arrives at the scene. Steve Holtz is one of New York's finest. Nicole is breath taken by the gentle gorgeous police officer, she is no longer afraid knowing he is protecting the streets. Officer Steve finds himself attracted to the out of town beauty. He quickly becomes a friend to her. Once again, Officer Steve appears to save Nicole from trouble. Nicole has no place to live since her apartment is no longer safe. Nicole takes the kind officers offer and stays with him until she can find another place. Steve eventually falls in love with Nicole, although he is afraid to let Nicole know. He does not want to ruin their friendship. The young Nicole finds another apartment. The death of Officer Steve's best friend and partner causes Nicole to stay around to comfort him. When Nicole sees Steve regain confidence, she moves into her new apartment. Officer Steve cannot bare another day with out Nicole. His jealousy rages when she goes on a date. He admits his love to her in hope to win her heart.
