Stepping inside "The Void" or diving into the vortex sets off a chain reaction all over the universe. Some believe that the universe is like a black hole in which one person just keeps falling forever. Floating in space might not just be falling; you could actually be raising. Space can also be seen as flat instead of deep. Like the shape of a galaxy and such celestial bodies. If the universe forces you to fall into it where are you being warped to? "The Void" puts you in a world where you are leaping through alternate universes and not knowing your final destination. Imagine being warped into a world completely unknown and the burden is so cumbersome that your mind is altered. Permanently imbedding an image of reality that will unwillingly shape the course of your life. "The Void" can be interpreted in different ways, for example the physical and the internal. Physically a lot that is experienced in "The Void" is very possible form the common act of love to the infamous act of violence. Then there is the internal, a path or a portal that transcends imagination and reality. A place where only the sub conscience can conjure and create an alternate universe. For example in the story "The Tomb" we can only imagine a place like heaven until that un-welcoming moment of death arrives. There is no such place as we know it but we can imagine such place. The internal thought behind "The Tomb" is the internal struggle that humans have, to be someone of importance and someone of purpose. Why are we here in this earth and in this great universe alone? Why have a soul and why do we feel chosen?
