Emerald is a teenage girl who possesses extraordinary powers. Although she lives in the human world she is from the magical land of Raynon. Emerald learns that she is the prodigy that can bring peace to the land. After binding Dragonus, the evil majesty, she starts to have horrific dreams. Emerald's nightmares become too much to bear as a being from her dream tries to contact her from beyond. Emerald inadvertently allows Dragonus's mother to come back from the Land of Spirits. As the queen takes back her throne in the castle of darkness, her rage against Emerald grows. Now Emerald and Sammy must face a new wickedness. She realizes that her nightmares weren't so bad, for her reality is far worse. No one is safe in this emotional tale. The magic intensifies as some of Emerald's old friends die to save her and protect their land. Using all the magic she has learned throughout the past couple years she must defeat the witch that seeks revenge before Dragonus is freed once again
