Living in the Five-Sense World is a true story about one man's journey in search of discovering his own personal truth, measured by his own personal standards. Being a warrior by nature makes this man's quest for peacefulness a difficult task. His ridged belief systems keep him buried in a myriad of self-doubt, selfishness, shame, and suppressed anger. His untrusting, negative outlook makes relationship-building almost impossible. He believes nothing is free and every relationship he encounters comes with a written or unwritten contract designed by him. He is a natural risk-taker and a cunning manipulator. When things go wrong, he quickly recovers by artistically and secretly blaming the people around him. As the years pass, people are brought to him who encourage and nurture his natural leadership skills. They teach and mentor right thinking in order to achieve successful results. They coach him how to build honest, strong, lasting relationships. They teach him selflessness, patience, clarity, and compassion when dealing with people. Slowly he begins to learn the lessons. As time continues to move forward, others are brought to him who have a greater purpose for him in mind. At first he rejects their information based on the conflicts that occur within his belief systems. These people, however, are very patient and only show him glimmers of what his life could be, should be, and would be. Slowly and steadfastly he begins to open his mind to all the possiblities that await him.
