Labor of Love stems from the many lives the author encountered during the years she worked in Labor and Delivery. Pregnancy loss/infant loss has such a profound affect on marriages and many of the marriages don't survive such a loss. Pregnancy loss is greatly misunderstood and undermined in importance in the eyes of society. Sandi hopes to bring encouragement and validation to the families who have suffered a pregnancy and/or infant loss. It is important for the families to know they are not alone in what they feel and have felt in the past or in their need to know what they've lost, both at the time and in all of their tomorrows.
