It's That Way Everywhere, George: a Memoir
George Wells
This is a story of a young lad from a farm in Southern Illinois who had a dream of becoming a fighter pilot in the United States Air Force. After many potential pitfalls the dream was realized. Adventures beyond the dreams unfolded as a full career in aviation and over twenty thousand hours of flying time were logged over nearly forty years. This is also a story of my adventures into politics. Environmentalists will be left in a state of disbelief as they read the story of the sell out of a 12,000 year old pristine glacial lake. Law abiding citizens who have faith in the Constitution will be amazed at how far a local legal system can go astray. This is a story of elected officials and self proclaimed, "Decision Makers" forgetting about the citizens that they were elected to represent as they pursue their own interests. This is my story.
