Life, Love and Memories: a Book of Poems Alex Allen

Not long after my wife of 50 years passed away, I began reminiscing about our times together, and for that matter, my whole life down memory lane. This path would include my college days, my 3 years of service during WWII, my courting days and the fabulous times of raising 3 siblings. As an offshoot of my life, I felt the urge to write about seasons of the year, holidays, friends and family; and no poem would be complete without love. All this with some humor mixed in. In 2008, my grand-daugher, Amy, her husband Alex and my daughter Diane thought that publishing my poems would be a great gift to me and I couldn't be more excited to finally share my book with you. I know you will enjoy reading it as much as I have enjoyed writing it.
