BLESSED THROUGH HOMELESSNESS takes you through Lucette's life . . . the trials and tribulations that took her from privilege to homelessness as a single mother. She reveals to us that her love of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, guided her in sustaining HOPE and her incredible RESILIENCY. Today, Lucette is a active member of Christ Church United Methodist, and the Director of the Faith In Action program at The Shepherd's Way Homeless Ministry who shepherds homeless families to independence through God's love in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The book cover was illustrated by Lucette's son Nair Komproe while he was participating in the Museum of Art Fort Lauderdale summercamp in 2007. A special thanks for the help and support that Nair recieved from Dianne Sepielli of Broward County School Board and all the leaders and teachers of the Museum of Art Fort Lauderdale. Nair was blessed with many talents and his sister Chrystel is following his footsteps.
