Paulette Steppes is an anointed, multi-gifted woman of God challenging critical issues affecting every aspect of marriages today. In her own life, she has experienced many trying times in her covenant relationship. The central theme of the book is to help married couples win the fighting bout! Paulette addresses some basic issues facing marriages and teaches people how to overcome knockout blows to their covenant love. She resides in Galesburg, Michigan with her husband. Over the years, she has come to see this beautiful covenant of marriage through God?s eyes. As married couples, we must ?REMATCH? our feelings and embrace a new attitude towards our covenant spouses. As a Christian, she never really understood the depth of her Christianity; and the love walk until, she got married. Life will certainly bring on many challenges, but it?s God?s love that will keep a covenant. She is a loving, devoted wife and mother. She has been married for 31 Rounds of marriage. They have two beautiful daughters, a great son, a wonderful daughter-in-law, and four beautiful grandchildren. Paulette has learned how to overcome many of life?s challenges through trusting God. She is a Playwright and Songwriter; and ministers the uncompromising Word of God, and is a profound Bible Teacher. She brings out clarity in the scriptures with her simplistic style of teaching, which shows people; the relevancy of God?s word and how, it applies to everyday living. As Paulette studied the Bible, she has learned; the true meaning of the marriage covenant according to God?s heart. She also believes that every act of symbolism in the marriage ceremony, gives you a glimpse into one of God?s most precious covenant. From the kiss, reading of the vows and sharing of the cake, placing the ring on the finger, which all holds a symbolic act of, a person?s innermost being in regards to; the love they share through their marriage covenant. It is believed that these things are tied closely to God?s heart. It?s through her own trials and tribulations that has brought her to a closer understanding of God?s covenant love for a man and woman in the confines of a ?Holy Marriage.? She is a woman of profound wisdom and prophetic insight. Paulette is focused, lives and walk in the miraculous power of God. She has been a member of the Christian Life Center for 26 years, under the leadership of Pastor Joel A. Brooks, Jr. and his wife Yvonne Brooks. In the earlier days of the ministry, she worked in the children?s ministry where she served for many, many years. Later, she served on the Ministry Team, a ministry designed to assist with pastoral care of the Church in the area of prayer. She ministers prophetically, and speaks the Word of God into the lives of people. Paulette has also served with many different volunteer agencies in the community such, as the Crisis Pregnancy Center, a ministry designed to save the unborn and to minister to unwed mothers. She managed a small group of ladies who volunteered their time, effort and money to help out in the ministry. Paulette has been a volunteer for Hospice of Greater Kalamazoo since 1994. This is a ministry designed to meet the needs of the sick and dying. She also worked a long temporary assignment at the American Cancer Society providing temporary assistance wherever needed.
