The Milk Bench is a story about my childhood on a farm in Germany. It covers my experience with farm animals, the election of the National Socialistic Labor Party, my education in a village school house with 8 classes in one room only one teacher. WW2 was raging throughout europe. Entererd the Panzer Corps in Dec. 1944. after a few days in boot camp I learned that my cousin was my Commanding Officer. All solxdiers in boot camp were sent to the Battle of the Bulge.. I stayed behind and got training in different fields, including driving a tank.. I was assigned to a tank crew in April 1945. We arrived at the Russian Freont on May 7th 2.00 AM, to find out that the war was over.. I lost my homeland. It took 4 years for our family to reunite. We immigrated to the USA in 1956.. I mentioned most all the events from Sputnik to iPod and from 3 to more than 100 $ a Barrel. I had my 80th B.day, and watch my children show off
