The irony is that Jennifer finds herself developing love feeling for a perfect stranger who later reveals himself as a man of "worst social characters." Characters that she has always condemned and repulsed. Jennifer wonders how, why and when this love has happened? May be it is an ill fate over her big-headedness. Love is certainly blind.
