The main character Jacob Caullen discovers his powers at age fifteen with the guidance of the immortals called the Select Few. The Select Few commissions him to unite four of his best friends to become a team, but convincing them was all but easy. It turns out his four friends obtained their desired supernatural powers similar to the way he did. Summoned by the Select Few, this team of teenaged super humans was called the Elect Few, sent to protect the world. It becomes apparent that one of the loyal team members evolves into a traitor and fills his mind with evil darkness and dignifying jealousy. Series of events brings Jacob to battle with this villain in order to save the lives of his true friends and become a team once again to successfully complete their missions . . .
