What does a devout Catholic nun, an aspiring young actress, a university student with a paralyzing fear of heights, a sixty-five year old CEO forced into retirement, and a ninety-one year old farmer with the task of carrying out his departed wife's last wishes, have in common? Nothing. Until the five unlikely strangers are brought together for a hot air balloon excursion following a raffle by a local radio station.
