The power to reverse this rapid decay is held by four unsuspecting young adults. But before they begin there search for the truth they must sort out their pasts and make their way through the Phases of Reason. THE EIGHT BALL For years John has been imprisoned inside a magic eight-ball. Placed on top of a display counter in a toy store he is forced to answer questions while seeing the hidden evil in those who ask. It is not until he meets the one he calls "Empty Man" that he is forced to relive his past in order to see the truths behind his teenage love and the parallel world that he is destined to save.
