I want to control my own money.
I don't want to fear having it or not having it. By that I mean that when I start making good money, I want to know where it goes and what I can accomplish by saving and investing it.
I want to be able to set priorities in spending money. I want to know what I can spend money on and what not to waste it on.
I want to feel like I control my future. How and where do I invest? What do I need to avoid in handling money for the long term so I have money to do what I want to do in the future. I want security in knowing I have resources.
I want to be able to spend money on things without blowing my whole future. I hate feeling bad when I spend too much and get hit with fees for overdrafts. I fear falling into credit card debt. I have spent money to make myself feel good and I don't like the after effects. I hate feeling I have nothing. I think that is why I go on binges.
