Every now and then, a unique child is born unto meek and mild earthly parents... and not always by immaculate conception... Most of the time, the child simply arrives in the way most children do... though the lives they live are nowhere near normal... The Atomic Bum is one of these... His is indeed a life lived on The Edge... The tale is true, though it's also a very poetic living metaphor, told with a tongue planted firmly in the cheek... To protect the innocent and not-so innocent, a few names and locations are intentionally disguised.
