Mack MacAlister is lured into the tangled rainforest jungle of Guatemala to a Maya sanctuary that has been veiled by mystifying forces for over 10,000 years. Events take him from innocence to discovering that he is integral to an ancient prophecy and has vowed in a previous lifetime to save a mysterious, life-size crystal skull.
