Publisher Marketing: In Classical Greek tradition, Iphigenia Ghost exposes all the horror of the sacrifice. Iphigenia Ghost Volume 2 Clytemnestra explores themes of sadness, grief, and anger. Clytemnestra has just learned of her daughter's death at the hands of her husband Agamemnon. Caught between time and all eternity, Iphigenia has not yet journied to that other realm. She remains distant, yet important in the role of the patriarchal daughter who tries to comfort her mother, and father too. Volume 2 Clytemnestra attempts to question the very issues of gender differentiation: here is a society that should obey the gods and yet the sacrifice of Iphigenia can be seen as a turning point where answers are demanded of the gods and society begins to question itself. Whether the ancient Greeks found the answers that were posed for and by themselves is a paradox in itself, however this interpretation of a tragedy in book form is really just an extension of that questioning of cultural, and specifically 'gender', differentiation. Although gender differentiation can be seen as a point of departure from that of cultural differentiation in the broader sense, it can still be viewed, however, as an important part in the make-up of the very fabric of Greek myth and ideology.
