***** In the gloom of the tomb a grave liner sits with its heavy lid pushed back to reveal an empty coffin inside, the early morning dampness causing tiny beads of moisture to form on the coffin's tarnished hardware and form into drops before falling to the bottom of the grave-liner with a dull plunk. In the stillness the sound reverberating as each drop lands in a pool of water that has collected there. Outside, in the predawn light, a large wolf moves swiftly among the mist-shrouded shapes of the gravestones towards the tomb, and there, with small sparkles of light reflecting from moisture caught up in its shaggy hair, it begins to shake and change shape. In seconds its shape is that of a large bat which flies up and enters into the tomb through a small,wedged shaped, hole. Inside, with a small shudder, the bat changes again, but this time into a tall, naked, young man that quickly climbs into the open coffin. There with the strength of ten men the figure slides the heavy lid of the concrete grave liner closed and lays back into the damp pillow to sleep and dream, dreams that are really memories of the distant past.
