A chill shivered down the spine of the main character upon hearing the 'C' word. "You have cancer." is indeed a chilling statement. Traumatized by the 'C' word she asks, "Why is this happening to me?" and "What have I done to deserve this?" She vacillates between hope and despondency, much like being on a teeter-totter only she's not having any fun! After many months of treatment, she has complications of pneumonia and is hospitalized. As our character lies in a hospital bed, she knows she will not return home. She has a dream of Heaven that totally changes her thoughts on an end-of-life experience. In her dream, she sees Jesus.
