He's the What Now?
Le Ann Goodrich Emery
This is a book about a brother and sister, Victor and Alexandra, who were born in Russia, but were not cared for by their mother, and they first ate on the streets and were then sent to a hospital then an orphanage. They were soon adopted by a couple from Utah who changed the children's names to Isaac and Elise. This couple abused and neglected these children. Elise and Isaac were taken out of this home and adopted into a loving family where they have grown and flourished in an atmosphere of love. The author is also the adopted mother of these children and is not satisfied with the lack of punishment the previous parents received for the abuse they inflicted. Her voice needs to be heard.
