Things always seem to be coming between their sleepover plans, like Julia getting sick, having to go visit her grandmother at the hospital in California, from all the way where they live in Washington D. C. It's like their sleepover was never meant to be. On their way to California, Julia and her family stay the night at the popular "Holiday Paradise" hotel, where surprisingly Julia finds the root to all the problems.
