This book, truly a "disjointed chronology", is a collection of events and experiences that influenced the author's life. They are reflected upon and recounted during a motorcycle journey (his "Odyssey") around the perimeter of the United States. Dialogue with an unusual philosophical protagonist, his precocious and perceptive Harley-Davidson, keeps him grounded in reality but hardly ever cuts him any slack.
