A group of British aristocrats go on a hunting trip to Kenya, one of the many new parts of the ever expanding British Empire. But one of them brings back more than they bargained for: an ancient idol that raises and attracts the dead. Having travelled back through Europe, the idols new owner throws a banquet to celebrate their successful hunting trip. As the unsuspecting guests arrive at his lavish manor they are oblivious to the fact that hordes of undead, raised on the return trip through Europe, are arriving to join the best of England's dead to descend upon the stately home and take back the idol.
