Because of his fine education, he made it his practice to keep a journal. From this he discovered the thing that haunted him, keeping him at a constant loss in all areas of life. It is a Law of Nature that cuts across every scientific field, transcends every other law of nature and singles out certain persons more than others. These he named Murphy's Law.
