In life, one has to choose a path to follow. As a naive person, I chose to enter the glamorous world of Nursing. As a new Registered Nurse, I was prepared and eager to save the world, succor the sick, nurture the needy, and make a positive impact on all those with whom I rendered care. My idealistic enthusiasm was soon replaced with cynicism. The story starts with my training and progresses through my initial orientation into the realities of professional nursing.
