Trail of the Chosen: the Story of Cardston's Founding People Tom Matkin

This is the script of a musical play written in 2000 and produced by the Carriage House Theatre Foundation in Cardston in 2001. It chronicles the story of Mormon pioneers who were called to come to Canada in 1887 and settle to find a place of security and peace under British Justice. The choice of Cardston as the initial settling place and the sense that their settlement was made possible with heaven's help and sealed with the heaven's approval by the construction of the magnificent Cardston Alberta Temple is presented.
