Chronicling a three year descent into madness, this book offers a stark and discomforting look at one man's lecherous and self-destructive potential. That's not to say the writing is without humor; as the cover and subtitle suggests, there is line being straddled between laughs and despair throughout. The speaker evaluates a life gone wrong from his bar stool perch while dispensing equal and ample animosity towards himself and others. The truth is often times all too ugly, but it makes for a compelling read.
