Together, the Lemieux and Marsolais lived in the city of Rouen, Normandy during the 1600s. Sometimes members of the same parish, they changed from Catholic to Protestant and back again---as needed to survive. In their search for a better life, they contributed their skills to establish Quebec City and open the North American continent.
