Found Treasures Patricia Farrenkopf

The creator of this book found many treasures at Emerald Isle, North Carolina. The featured seashells in this book were washed ashore on the sandy beaches there and over a period of six years of July vacationing. These alpha letters A-Z and numerals 0-9 became part of a growing collection until complete. The sketches were drawn when each letter and number were found and corresponding sea shell and sea life examples imagined. Another discovered treasure was the photographer of this book project, who now owns her own studio but was once a student of the author when both were at an elementary magnet school - one as a student and the other as a principal.
