Cory Morgenstern was born in Queens, New York and grew up in Oceanside, Long Island in a middle class Jewish family. His parents had hoped he would become a doctor or a lawyer, but much to their chagrin, Cory was always mesmerized by music. They tried to force him through a pre-med program in college, but all he wanted to do was play music. A voyeuristic look at the life of a full time musician, for anyone who ever wondered what it might have been like to follow their dream of becoming a musician and what they might have missed or not missed. These are touching stories of one man's dream and the pursuits and challenges are still going on to this day.
