Becoming a husband, a father and the excitement of a new life didn't turn out quite as expected for Beltran Perez. An inquisitive young man drafted to fight a controversial war in Vietnam, Beltran is prematurely forced to simultaneously fight his way through the unforeseen and enervating challenges of life and the rigors of manhood and fatherhood.
