The seal's dark eyes stared at me in a very haunting way... In the spring of 2008, I began writing Arch of the Pixies. I first envisioned this story on one of my many trips to the Oregon Coast. Walking along a path above the ocean beaches, I noticed a harbor seal in the water. The seal's dark eyes stared at me in a very haunting way as the fog slowly began to creep across the water. The story began to take shape in my mind at that very moment. Arch of the Pixies was published in the spring of 2009. Arch of the Pixies, is the story of a Hannah, a young girl, who moves back to her grandmother's house over looking a bay on the ocean with her parents and twin brother. The story follows the adventures of the twins as they soon discover the secrets hidden in their old house.
