Shepherd's Garden Diane Dickinson

Written as a guide to the Bible Garden at Shepherd's Cross, this booklet describes types of plants referenced either in the Bible or in Biblical legends. The plants are within the same family as the Holy Land varieties, chosen for their ability to thrive in outdoor gardens, across the United States. Each plant includes a Bible verse and a Biblical historical detail, or Biblical legend. Each entry also features the plant's name, Latin designation, common name, and a description of that plant's appearance, as well as a sketch of the plant. Readers will acquire a new understanding when working in their own gardens or visiting other gardens, and may be encouraged to begin their own Bible Garden.
