Just Stories for the Young: the Boyyer Series
S E. Wilson
"Reading, writing and arithmetic, I am still not much on mathematics but Reading and Writing are my fortes!" says the author. In his preschool days, Samuel Earl (Boyyer) Wilson, III was taught by his grandmother, father, mother, sisters and nursery teacher, a retired school teacher, how to read, write, think and figure. When he entered real public school in his fi rst year, he was miles ahead of his peers. He was reading while they were learning their A, B, C's. He stayed ahead of others until he attended Morehouse college. Then he fell behind. Eventually he caught up and graduated. As an X athlete, he earned letters in basketball and football in high school, Springfield High in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He also earned four letters in football at Morehouse College and played one year of semi/professional football while serving in the military at Fort Huachuca, Arizona. Even then he continued to read as his pre school teachers had impinged upon him to do in his youth. Recently he has read three books by other authors and again - The Possum Hunter- by himself. This book is a gift for the Young, regardless of their ages. (8 to 88 ).
