The Magic Stones
Grandma nor
Molly and Pete find a cave in the wilderness that their fathers had said couldnâ??t be found. They discover an even larger room in the back that has a pond and large flowers growing everywhere. In one flower a tiny fairy was asleep. The faeries tell the children how they, the faeries, came to be there and show them a skeleton of a dragon in another room. A saddened fairy cries while talking about the dragon and two tears fall onto the floor as diamonds. Molly asked if she could keep them and was allowed. Outside the cave, the children had no memory of what had happened. The stones were taken to town and appraised by the jeweler and found to be very expensive. Molly insisted on sharing the money with Peteâ??s family and it was agreed upon. Molly got happy newsâ??she was going to be a big sister!
