Adventures of a Writer?s Wife is a collection of articles by Allene Hatch written for The Barrytown Explorer, a Hudson Valley newspaper published by the late Chanler Chapman. He was one of the ?Mad Chanlers? in Lately Thomas?s Pride of Lions. It was he, not her biographer/historian husband Alden Hatch, who was responsible for her writing career by providing endless encouragement plus a ready market for her amusing stories of life among such notabbles as President Eisenhower, Bucky Fuller, HRH Prince Bernhard of The Netherlands and Mrs. Woodrow Wilson, among many others. It is a lovely peek behind the curtain of history.
