Hengist's Election François Ferry
Hengist's Election
François Ferry
A presidential election is about to take place on the oil-rich Caribbean island of Chevere - an election that will affect the supply of oil, and its price, for Britain and the whole world. Jeffrey Hengist, a Section Head at Britain's Secret Service Agency, MI6, has a plan to ensure the election of a candidate who will be sympathetic to Britain?s interests and give her better terms than her traditional European rivals. To achieve this he needs to get the co-operation of the United States in the mass movement of illegal Cheverean immigrants, and to use information gleaned by British intelligence to ensure the co-operation of the newly-elected President of Chevere. However, even the best -laid schemes do not always go according to plan?
