Ianus Christius
Bilingual croatian-english collection of material-spiritual toughts and says, written with intention to give help to all those who are seeking path on their own spiritual journey. All these sayings and thoughts that I have outlined on the following pages were created during my own mental and spiritual development. Every word written here is an original artifact that was created with the help of ?higher consciousness? (as I like to call it) and because of that, my dear reader, please read them with understanding and respect. Many hours spent in the countryside, especially on my favorite Zagreb's mountain Medvednica, and its magnificent tower Medvedgrad, have made a great contribution to the final appearance of this work. The book consists of two parts. The first part, Stairway to Wisdom, is a collection of, as I call them, material and spiritual sayings and songs. Each of the fifty-two sayings and songs, are intended to inspire readers to positive thoughts and to awake their own creativity. The second part, The thoughts of the spiritual anarchist, is consisting of twelve articles and stories on various topics, both of secular and spiritual themes. Every text, whether it is a dictum, poem, story or thematic article, begins and ends with three dots. For an explanation of this selection of articles, I will give you one of my sayings: ... All of our thoughts, words and deeds are the heritage of our ancestors... And as the three dots in front of each title and text are saying that all what we think about, say or do is the legacy of our ancestors; so I have to say that all we're doing now will stay in the heritage of our descendants, what is indicated by three dots at the end of each title and text in this book. ? We, humans, are mortals, and as such we are only passers-by on this small planet we call Earth. But what is immortal, is our soul and our actions that will be left behind, even when our material bodies turn to ashes. ?
