This book is about a woman, supposedly happily married, to a man who gets mixed up with a drug cartel and the chase that in sues. The cartel thinks that the wife knows about his where-about but she doesn't and many attempts on her life take place making it necessary for the police to get involved. Each safe house is found until the police finally figure out who is involved, and after a violent ending the culprits are arrested and the case is closed.
